Bryant Park has become one of Manhattan’s loveliest public spaces, and it has an open-air café for casual eating and the Bryant Park Grill for serious meals. The grill is a gorgeous pavilion with a bird mural stretching along one side and banquettes wrapped in a wonderful leaf-print pattern. The wine list complements the American menu; more than half of the 26 selections offered by the glass are from California.
